-In a case of not letting all the research for the cancelled podcast go to waste, here’s the last week in redone-
This last week I have been playing a lot of Portal 2 (the review will not be on hold and I will try to redo that too as a video review to come soon), Hector Ep1 for the video review and I’m so glad I was able to uninstall from the hard drive. Last game I played was Warhammer 40,000 The Last Standalone, which is a great game and again I will try to upload a video review soon.
I have had Mount and Blade: Fire and Sword on pre-order but it is now out and so far it’s an fine little RPG. I also have Hydrophobia: Prophecy on pre-order, it’s an Unreal 3 Engine game which has already been on Xbox Live Arcade.
TV wise I have been watching Doctor Who (already been written up), Stargate Universe (which I’m writing a story about how this has become my personally “last Panda type of show”) and Chuck which is slowly becoming just a so-so show.
In news, Sony Online Entertainment has also been hacked. A lot of players have had details stolen. A story about a guy on the PSN has had about $2,000 stolen from his credit card, the money was used for MS Point, which is kinda funny.
Nintendo have a new console coming, codenamed “Café”. It will replace the Nintendo Wii, have a triple core CPU (like the Xbox 360) a touch screen controller and use a Radon 4xxxHD Graphics Card, which is about 2 generations behind but is better than you GPU of both the PS3 and the Xbox 360. I still don’t care, but this is what Sk4zZi0uS felt:
“I had heard it would be a force to pwn with… but lets be serious… its a what the wii should have been… Its far to late. It may very well be a force now but give it a few months and we may very well see new consoles from MS and Sony that will end up topping it. “
